Virgil “Guy” Gilbert was the leader of the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Squad until he was given a uniform that gave him super-speed so he became the member of the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents known as Lightning. However, each time he uses the suit, it speeds up his metabolism and decreases his lifespan.
