The Green Sorceress, Empress of Voltor, commanded a legion of followers in an attempt to rule the underground kingdom of Deltos that Blue Bolt took under his protection. The Sorceress often came into conflict with Dr. Bertoff, a scientist and ruler of Deltos, and once teamed up with the brilliant but deformed surface scientist named Marto. She later went to the surface and aided Adolf Hitler before she was eventually reformed. Green Sorceress became infatuated with Blue Bolt and was viciously jealous of Lois Blake, her rival for his affections. The Green Sorceress had the ability to disappear and appear in a cloud of green smoke, often referred to as an “aura”. She also made use of a crystal ball-type device she called a “Televisor” to spy on Blue Bolt.
