Ned was a boy living in 12th century England working in the kitchen of the Sheriff of Nottingham’s castle. He adored Robin Hood so much that he made a suit like Robin Hood had and went to join the Merry Men. After helping Robin Hood escape from the Sheriff’s men, Robin invited the lad to become the youngest member of the Merry Men as the Golden Archer. He was an exceptional archer just like his mentor.
