The Four Comrades were Buzz Brandon, a juvenile boxing prodigy, Tommy Tompkins, an independently wealthy boy inventor, and Pudge O’Conner and Tip Addams, a pair of street urchins. They solved crimes in their spare time, and when things got really tough, they put on their crime-fighting outfits. Although they didn’t use code names, they somehow managed to keep their identities secret. Aside from their natural talents, they had no powers. Their recurring adversary was Black Satan, a demonic-looking crime lord.
