Chip Collins (Fiction House)

Chip Collins is a freelance pilot and is the leader of the Skull Squad. In one typical adventure he flies to “small besieged town in war torn China” to rescue captured Americans, but while there encounters Chung Hang, who intends to use his mind control ray to rule the world after the war is over. Collins fights Chinese and Japanese “yellow perils”, evil Afghanis, the evil pilot “the Vulture,” a Malaysian femme fatale high priestess, and the Walrus Men (“an ancient race of primitive, bestial men, living in the hills of upper Tibet”). During the war Collins enlists and fights Germans. Note: Chip Collins was reprinted and renamed as Top Bowers in Captain Flight #4.
