Albrecht Krieger, Captain Nazi, was developed to be the perfect specimen to fight for Adolf Hitler and the Nazi cause. On Hitler’s command, he fought heroes such as Bulletman and Captain Marvel in order to rid the world of America’s greatest heroes. Captain Nazi was ruthless, killing or maiming without guilt or delay. During his fight with Captain Marvel, a powerful punch sent Captain Nazi plunging unconscious into a lake. Freddy Freeman and his grandfather lifted him into their fishing boat. When Captain Nazi awoke, he killed the boy’s grandfather and broke Freddy’s back, permanently crippling the boy. Freddy subsequently was saved by Captain Marvel and became the hero known as Captain Marvel Jr.. Junior would go on to confront Captain Nazi multiple times throughout the war years, becoming his greatest nemesis. Captain Nazi would sometimes team-up with other villains such as Captain Nippon, Dr. Macabre, and Dr. Eternity. He has superhuman strength, speed, stamina, flight, invulnerability, and other enhanced senses.
