Like a powerful stone-throwing catapult, Captain Catapult used his magic cape to hurl himself through the air with ease, striking terror into the hearts of evildoers everywhere. His secret identity as Corp. Tom Manley was discovered by “Comics” McCormick, whose sister, Connie, was Tom’s romantic interest. Captain Catapult decided to let “Comics” help him clean up a gang of racketeers who were running rampant in the city and run by “Big Butch” Brawler. “Comics” helped Captain Catapult find their secret lair and, after beating up the racketeers, the duo left them at the police station for Officer Kelly.
