Stephen Doone was a newspaper publisher who ran one of the largest crime syndicates in the city as “The Blackmask.” He used his newspaper to influence events. He was eventually taken down by Bulletman. As the Blackmask, Doone used grenades that exploded with freezing gas, and he also used conventional firearms. He liked to set elaborate traps for his enemies as well.
