Toni and Ace usually hid their timeship underwater, and then swam ashore in bathing suits, often carrying any gear they might need. Once on land, they would assume the garb of the period they were visiting. They could return to the timeship for supplies as needed. Though they had access to modern weapons, Ace insisted on using the weapons of the time, and he almost always found himself fighting in the battles he had come to witness.
